U.S. Federal Government Procurement Expert (on Contract)
╋Our company helps Government organizations procure/purchase with confidence so that they can spend taxpayer’s money effectively (by meeting compliance requirements, avoid audits by minimizing risks, and help meet their organization’s procurement & contract goals. Industry Expert’s role is to support the company’s content related needs.
- You must be a U.S. citizen who has/had worked with U.S. Federal Government as an employee for at least 25 years in Government procurement and contract management
- Highly motivated, go getter, and an outcome driven person that can work with minimal guidance.
- Conduct industry expert related tasks such as:
- study the provided content related to Government procurement and contract management.
- convert the content into user friendly language that a Government procurement official can understand, remember, and apply
- modify the content based on Federal Government procurement processes, compliance guidelines, laws, and procedures.
- add relevant practical examples so that content format used explains a theoretical concept/process, make it memorable it with the help of a story-based example, and then tie it again with the expected learning outcome.
- Test the content using tools provided by the company in the form of questions and answers that could be asked by a target customer.
- Deep understanding and expertise related to Federal Acquisitions Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DEFAR) regulations. This includes identifying gaps, adhere to compliance guidelines, follow legal precedence and examples to inform procurement & contracting decisions.
- FAR directs how Federal acquisitions / procurements are done. Contracts are just the end product. Expertise should cover the whole scope and breadth of the Federal acquisition /procurement process.
- Conduct research and generate the requested deliverables using Artificial Intelligence tools.
- Highly motivated, go getter, and an outcome driven person that can work with minimal guidance.
- Work in a remote environment and should be extremely comfortable as a self-driven person.
- Respond to emails/requests within 1 business days especially client emails.
- Share weekly report on your tasks.
- We expect the use of high emotional intelligence, rational thinking, and use of common sense to perform tasks with minimal guidance.
- Other projects and services as directed by Company from time to time.
- This role is on contract. Compensation is $100 per hour and expected hours per week/project to be discussed beforehand.
